To provide a stable, secure, productive computer environment that allows the Departments of Computer Science, Mathematics, and Statistics and Actuarial Science to achieve its educational, research and administrative needs.
This includes the basic network infrastructure and computing environment for the state of the art UNIX, Windows or Macintosh workstations used in labs, faculty offices or research projects. CSG supports managed Windows and Linux loads, file services (including backup), departmental and personal web hosting, mail, public printers, account creation/maintenance, DNS, DHCP, helpdesk, authentication electronic door locks, and a hot disaster recovery site for core services.
The goal of the CSG team is to improve the quality of education and research through out the Mathematical Sciences Departments by working together with faculty and staff to maximize the availability of core network services and provide exceptional support to our customers.
