Checking Quota
There is no facility inside Eudora to check quota. Instead, login to the Mathematical Sciences Mail Utilities and select "Check quota".
Configuration
Creating Filters
Note: If you have configured server-side filters and are using IMAP to read your email, you do not need to configure filters in the email client.

Click on "Tools" in the menu bar.
In the menu, select "Filters"
In the "Filters" window, click on the "New" button at the lower left-
hand corner.
In the "Match" area, in the "Header:" selection box, choose whatever
header you'd like to filter on.
In the selection box under "Header:", select the appropriate modifier.
In the empty input box to the right of "starts with", type the string
that will trigger the filter.
In the "Action" area, in the topmost selection box, choose "Transfer To".
Click on the box that says "In", to the right of "Transfer To", and
select the folder that you want spam moved to.
Click on the "X" in the upper right-hand corner of the "Filters" window
to close it.
Click on "Yes" in the "Save changes to Filters?" box that pops up.
Marking Messages as Read

Select the messages you want to mark as read.
In the menu bar, click on "Message".
Select "Change".
In the submenu, select "Status".
In the submenu, select "Read".
Spam Filtering

Click on "Tools" in the menu bar.
In the menu, select "Filters"
In the "Filters" window, click on the "New" button at the lower left-
hand corner.
In the "Match" area, in the "Header:" selection box, choose "Subject:".
In the selection box under "Header:", select "starts with".
In the empty input box to the right of "starts with", type "[SPAM?]-".
In the "Action" area, in the topmost selection box, choose "Transfer To".
Click on the box that says "In", to the right of "Transfer To", and
select the folder that you want spam moved to.
Click on the "X" in the upper right-hand corner of the "Filters" window
to close it.
Click on "Yes" in the "Save changes to Filters?" box that pops up.
Subscribing to Folders
All your folders should automatically appear in Eudora; you don't need to subscribe to them.
Subscribing to Shared Folders

There should be a folder named "Other Users" in your "Mailboxes" window along the left side of your Eudora window. If you do not see "Other Users", you may need to refresh your mailbox list:

Click on the "+" in the small box to the left of the "Other Users" folder symbol. The shared folders that you have access to should now appear underneath "Other Users".
