Checking Quota
There is no facility inside Outlook Express to check quota. Instead, login to the Mathematical Sciences Mail Utilities and select "Check quota".

Subscribing to Shared Folders
Unfortunately, due to either a bug or poor design, there does not seem to be a way to make Outlook Express remember shared folders. So, each time you start Outlook Express, follow this procedure:
-
In the "Folders" window, right-click on your account root--probably, it
will be named "mail.divms.uiowa.edu".
In the pop-up menu, click on "IMAP Folders...".
Click on the "All" tab.
Scroll down to "Other Users". All shared folders that you have access to
should appear beneath "Other Users".
Highlight the shared folders that you want to read. Do not highlight
"Other Users".
Click on the "Show" button to the right.
Click on the "Go to" button at the bottom. Do not click on the "OK"
button.
