You can change your DIVMS password remotely here. You will be prompted for your HawkID username and password. Once you've authenticated with your HawkID username and password (not your DIVMS password), you'll be prompted to set your DIVMS password.

You can change your password from a CSG managed Linux or Windows workstation. If you are logged in to a Linux workstation (e.g. in one of the labs), you can change your password by click on the "Change DIVMS Password" icon. The icon is found by clicking on the red hat icon, then the DIVMS folder, then the "Change DIVMS Password".

After you click on the icon, a terminal session will be started that will ask you for your current password. Enter your current password. Next you will be asked to choose a new password. You will be told at that time the rules for a valid password. Use both uppercase and lowercase letters and either digits or non-alphabetic symbols (or both) in your password. Do not use a word--not even a name, nickname, abbreviation, acronym, slang term, swear word, or foreign word. Do not use a word with just one other character appended to it or inserted in it. Do not use a word backwards. Do not use names of machines, usernames, or other computer- or network-related terms. Do not use dates, addresses, or license plate tags, in any format. Do not use the same password for more than one account.

If you are at a windows workstation, user the "Change DIVMS Password" menu pick in the "Start>All Programs" menu for Windows.
