Troubleshooting Your Web Pages

Test Your Pages

To see if your page is accessible, load it into a web browser. To make sure your pages are universally readable, load your pages in as many different browsers as possible, such as Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Lynx, Opera and Safari. You also might want to test your pages on older versions of browsers, if possible.

Validate Your Pages

It's never a bad idea to validate your web pages, and validators can help you troubleshoot problems with your web pages. The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) provides a free markup validation service that will check your web pages for problems.
